Enjoy healthy, local produce all winter long as a member of Winter Sun Farms.
A limited number of “winter shares” are available for December 2011 through March 2012. For $125-$135 members of Winter Sun Farms receive one box per month containing Western North Carolina’s finest local produce.
At each pickup members will receive 7 different packages of fruits and vegetables – along with a bonus item! Each package will have information about the farm where it was grown to help you get to know who grows your food.
Monthly pickups are easy and convenient.
For the Winter 2011-2012 share, there will be 4 pickups: One each in December 2011 and in January, February and March 2012. The exact dates will be announced later.
Pick-up Sites for your winter shares are at Blue Ridge Food Ventures on the A-B Tech Enka campus in West Asheville; the Grove Arcade in downtown Asheville; the Merry Wine Market in Black Mountain, and Hand-in-Hand Gallery in Flat Rock. There is a $10 surcharge for the off-site pick-ups.

· Driving directions from I-40 West: Take Exit 44. At the traffic light at the end of the exit ramp, turn right. Then, go to the fourth traffic light and turn left onto Sand Hill Road. Turn immediately into the first entrance on the left and arrive onto the campus. BRFV is straight ahead in the red brick wing of the building facing you. A sign over the red double doors welcomes you to Blue Ridge Food Ventures.
